Jakz Sandbar Beach House Reviews 2019

This was our first visit to Sea Isle city. We were very pleased with our experience. The townhome is beautifully decorated with every amenity you can think of. It’s an excellent location- short walk to the beach and close to all the shops/restaurants. We loved sitting out in the deck listening to the waves at night and sipping morning coffee there…doesn’t get any better than that! Joe was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The check-in/check-out process was also very simple and easy. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family. We look forward to come back again in the future. Thank you again Joe and family for sharing your beautiful home with us.

House is situated perfectly for the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. There is plenty of room for 3 couples to have a private room and bath. The living room is bright and comfortable with an open dining room and kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed to have at home meals, which we did regularly. The deck off the living room is the perfect place for morning coffee with a nice view of the ocean. The garage holds plenty of chairs to enjoy the beach, as well as a second refrigerator. Through the back gate is a great outdoor shower for cleaning off after the beach. Though we did not have the pleasure of meeting Joe or his wife in person, he was quick to respond to our texts or emails. Their place is sparkling clean, easy to reach, with easy entry, and a wonderful place to stay. We hope to return! I highly recommend Jak’z Sandbar! Frank, Jamie and friends Quakertown, PA

We had a great all around experience!! The owner was awesome to work with, from initially communicating interest in the rental all the way through our stay! Very responsive to emails and texts. We hope to rent from them again! The location is also PERFECT! Just a short walk to the promenade and beach.

You couldn’t ask for a better kitchen! Our group had 6 small kids, so being able to eat-in was a MUST! Between the blender, pots and pans of all sizes, and a second refrigerator in the garage, this beyond met our needs! The outdoor shower was so convenient for washing off and keeping inside sand to a minimum! We loved the deck. Unfortunately, a couple of days we were there the weather wasn’t great, but the deck allowed for some outdoor time even when it wasn’t beach appropriate weather!

It was also really nice to have the different levels for different families, but this also means there are a lot of steps. We knew this going in, so we brought baby gates to keep the small ones contained!

Again, this rental is perfectly located, has wonderful amenities, and a owner that’s ideal to rent from!

My family and I have been coming to Sea Isle City for 22 years and this is by far my favorite house! Ignoring the location and cleanliness, which both were perfect, the house is so much more than a rental, it feels like a home. Joe & Kristina have taken the extra steps to make you feel special and welcome. They had left a nice welcome note/gift, board games (which led to several connect 4 tournaments), beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards just to name a few. Joe was very responsive if I had any question, but several times he initiated contact with me to ensure everything was as I expected. My elderly mom, who traveled with us, enjoyed the covered porch with views of the ocean. She said it was simply beautiful! I would recommend Jakz Sandbar Beach House to anyone and hope someday to return again for an extended stay.

Joe’s kindness and willingness to accommodate made our stay at the beach an absolutely amazing weekend! He made everything super easy – check-in, directions etc. and went the extra mile by providing recommendations for bars/restaurants and things to do in the area (not to mention the great selection of board games). The location is perfect and the house was spotless. You can tell that he and his family really love this place, which makes your experience that much more special. Looking forward to coming back – and thank you again for everything, Joe!

Great townhouse a block from the beach! The location was great- we could walk to dinner, shops, coffeeshop, beach, and more. The house was very clean. Plenty of cookware available to use. They also provide beach tags and there were plenty of chairs and toys! Joe was also incredibly quick to respond to any questions and concerns I had. We last minute needed to add another night and he was so flexible and easy to work with! I will add that if you have not been to the NJ shore, it is common practice to not supply linens (sheets and towels) as well as paper products. We were all flying in so we could not pack our own. We used a linen service that was recommended, and the grocery store is a 5 minute drive to grab supplies. The linen service will run you at least $250 a week if you are using all the beds and get towels too. Overall we had a great stay!
